STOP S-10 Street Meets June 4

Victoria, B.C.: Stop S-10 Street Meets are being organized in at least 24 locations across Canada on Friday June 4 by the International Hempology 101 Society. This is the first time Hempology 101 has tried to call the troops to action, but mandatory minimum sentences for growing as few as 6 plants threaten the Canadian cannabis community so much that we must use every means possible to defeat them. Six Stop S-10 Street Meets are planned on Vancouver Island, the first time so many anti-prohibition rallies have been held at the same time here, and many more last minute locations could be added, as various facebook groups and other social networking sites catch on to the idea.
The Stop S-10 Street Meets are designed to bring informed individuals together in a visible public location. While some people stand by the road with Stop S-10 signs, others will be giving stacks of Phone Jam handouts to supporters. These supporters will spread through the downtown core of the city, talking with folks walking down the street, much like Green Peace canvassing for money except we will be encouraging people to stand up for their rights instead. The Phone Jam was a very successful tool Hempology 101 used in slowing down the last set of bad drug laws, C-15, that the Conservatives tried to pass.
