Grant Krieger – Still in jail and now denied a wheelchair! Read more to lend your support

Grant Krieger suffers from multiple sclerosis and has legal permission to smoke marijuana for medical purposes.
In March 2007, Judge William Pepler had ordered Corrections Canada to find a way for Grant to medicate with cannabis while in prison due to his one of a kind Alberta court order constitutional exemption to cultivate, and consume cannabis. His rights were ignored and denied when he was suddenly whisked away to jail during a hearing, with that same judge (and without medication) on June 18, 2007.
A frail man walked into prison, and within days is now confined to a wheelchair. Grant is suffering considerably from painful muscle spasms that twist his body, as well his speech and response has slowed without the medicinal effects of marijuana. This undue, cruel punishment is a travesty of justice. Grant was given four months in jail for simply sending a minimal amount of medical marijuana to another incurably ill person, (while Canadian drug smugglers go free!)
Grant’s release date was moved to July 6, 2007, but there is hope he may be released this Monday or Tuesday.
