Victoria, B.C.: On Saturday, November 15th, at 2:00pm, a rally will be held at the Ministry
of Health to mark International Medical Marijuana Day. Members of the local, medical
cannabis provider, the Cannabis Buyers’ Clubs of Canada, will explain to those gathered
how eating and smoking cannabis helps alleviate the symptoms from which they suffer.

The City of Victoria is expected to add their support to medical cannabis users by officially
proclaiming November 15th to be International Medical Marijuana Day at Thursday night’s
council meeting. City Council unanimously passed the declaration last year when the Cannabis
Buyers’ Clubs of Canada was pressuring all levels of government after several police raids.

A silent art auction is also being held Saturday, with the final bidding occurring at 4:20pm.
The art has been displayed at 826 Johnson St. for weeks, with 16 local artists donating over
35 incredible pieces of art filling several walls. All money from the art auction is being
directly given to a human rights and environmental lawyer who has done an impressive amount of
community work, Bob Moore-Stewart. For more information about the Cannabis Buyers’ Clubs of
Canada, the International Hempology 101 Society, the law and other current cannabis issues,
see www.hempology.com.

The release of a newsletter titled CANNABIS DIGEST is also happening this Saturday, November 15th
at 2:00pm at the Ministry of Health. The goal of CANNABIS DIGEST is to provide current legal,
political, medical and economic trends in the medical cannabis field with a focus upon the
activities and strengths of the Cannabis Buyers’ Clubs of Canada.
